With:

9 plate holders.

To change plates with this detective camera the hand is inserted through a light-tight sleeve into the plate reservoir. The exposed plate is lifted from the front to the back of the stack of plates.

Several similar models were made:

Original No. I with a non self-capping shutter.
Improved model with self-capping shutter.
Focusing model (1899) called the No. IV.
'Tourist' model for 4" x 5" plates.
Model Id with a diaphragm.
'Tourist' Model VI for quarter-plates plate with a diaphragm.
Stereo model.
